The Register of Company Accounts

The Register of Company Accounts is the most important data source for anyone wishing to obtain information on the financial status of Norwegian business and industry.

Pursuant to the Accounting Act, all private and public limited companies, plus organisations like savings banks, mutual insurance companies and petroleum enterprises to name a few are obliged to submit their annual accounts, including the auditor's report, to the Register of Company Accounts. All accounts received will be announced after registration and all subsequent information will be made available to the general public. Thus, the register is an invaluable source of information for journalists, researchers and others who wish to take the pulse on Norwegian industries.
